Crestwood Lake’s swim team, the Crestwood Cruisers, is available to all members of Crestwood Lake aged 5 to 17. Children do not have to be good swimmers to join the team, but they must be able to swim 25 yards in deep water.

If your child...
• likes to swim,
• wants to develop and improve their strokes, swim times and endurance,
• wants to participate in a recreational swim league with friends from the lake,
• and is up for having some great summer fun
~ come on out and join the team!

A deep water test will be given to all new swimmers during the first week of practice. Practice for the 5/6 year olds is offered 3 days a week for 30 minutes. Practice for children aged 7 and older is offered 5 days a week for an hour. Practices will begin after school at Crestwood Lake in early June. Once school is over practice will be offered morning and afternoon hours. All swimmers are encouraged to attend practice regularly. Swim meets take place weekday evenings during the month of July at Crestwood Lake and other county league lakes.

Please note: members of the swim team must also be members of Crestwood Lake. Swim team members who are age thirteen and under must join the lake with a parent.

 

ANNOUNCING THE CRESTWOOD CRUISERS DIVE TEAM!

New to Crestwood Cruisers this summer is the Crestwood Cruisers diving team! The dive team is open to all boys and girls ages 5-17. Practices will start Wednesday, June 1st. The team will be participating in 4 swim meets with the possibility of competing in a final county championship. Dives can be as
simple as a pencil or as complicated as a 2 ½ pike. As with the Crestwood Cruisers swim team membership at Crestwood Lake is required for each
